Baby Showers!

There has been a huge Baby Boom!  I know 15 people who have either just had their baby or are currently expecting.  Thus, I have TWO baby showers to plan and I hope to get a couple more!  I have been researching baby shower themes and ideas and have come up with really beautiful color palettes!  Pictures and details will come later.

I have completed another lesson in my Wedding and Event Planning course through Sheffield.edu!  I am so thankful that I was able to move my business easily and look forward to meeting new vendors.  Forming those relationships will be a great part of my success!

A couple new things.

Enchanted Moments is now a dealer for Carlson Craft.  This is a wedding invitation company.  I am now able to sell wedding invitations to clients!  I have over 100 pages of sample invitations.  There are also thank you cards, wedding programs, save the date cards, napkins, gifts, cake toppers, flower girls baskets etc...  Every accessory you need to make your wedding complete...even the isle runner!  I am very excited to be able to offer this service.

I received my distance course material yesterday in the mail!  I was so excited I finished lesson 1 already!  How fun to be reading a text book about something I actually care about.  I have to say that this course is very detailed and much more than I expected.  It has audio CD's to help you with the material and DVD's.  The course manual says it could take between 8 months and a year to finish.  I will be updating my progress regularly.  


On another note, I have received my business cards and they look beautiful.  I have been brainstorming about ideas and what I can bring to my future clients.  I have a business meeting tomorrow and I will bring more details about that later!


This chapter in my life is so exciting!  

Planning is coming along!

I have been very busy getting details done for Enchanted Moments.  I have created contracts!  I need to get my prices figured out now. I have also enrolled in my online course.  I am excited to get my materials in the mail and get started!  It should take me between 8 months and a year to complete and get my graduation certificate!  So right now I am getting my business plan together and making contacts with vendors etc...all while planning a wedding for next October!  What an awesome job!!! 

I also wanted to say thank you to my husband!  He is my support system and I am so grateful for him.  It is scary to start a business and he gave me the courage to do it!

This package is for the couple that want guidance from start to finish. It covers all the beautiful details that make a wedding completely yours.

The full wedding package includes:

• Initial consultation with the Bride and Groom, complimentary

• Assistance in preparing the wedding budget
• Prepare timeline and checklists
• Assist with selection and booking ceremony and reception sites
• Assist with selecting a color scheme, theme and style of the wedding
• Assist with selection of wedding attire and accessories, accompaniment to fittings if desired
• Provide a list of vendors
• Help with booking and negotiating of vendors

• Walk-thru with clients at selected sites for the wedding

Rehearsal & Wedding Day Planning Package

We handle every detail on the wedding day and rehearsal so that the wedding party and family are relaxed and free to enjoy your special day.

The rehearsal & wedding day planning package includes:

Rehearsal

• Consultation with Bride and Groom to find out information about their wedding and determine how they wish the wedding to flow
• Preparation of a rehearsal and wedding day itinerary
• Attendance and direction of the rehearsal (coordinated with the officiant) up to two hours
• Final collection of wedding items at rehearsal that need to be set up on wedding day, such as candles, wedding favors, programs, etc

Wedding day

• Check with vendors to confirm arrangements for the wedding day
• Attending, overseeing and directing the ceremony and reception
• Receive deliveries and great vendors
• Make sure reception and ceremony areas are set up as you have planned
• Assist with handing out wedding flowers, pinning corsages, boutonnières, etc.
• Provide wedding emergency kit
• Get wedding party in place to walk down the aisle. Make sure flowers are held correctly, timing is perfect, wedding dress trains are straight etc.
• Help photographer get the pictures you want, making sure family members are available and in place for the photographer
• Make sure reception area is set up as planned, candles lit, DJ on schedule, etc.
• Arrange grand entrance of Bride and Groom
• Handle any problems that come up with the caterer
• Make sure things run on schedule
• Coordinate the collection of gifts received at the wedding to a pre-arranged spot
• Make sure transportation is running on time
• Provide a stress free day for the Bride and Groom

Consultation Only Package

This is for the couple that has the details planned and just want a professional to look things over. The planner will make suggestions on timeline, theme and vendors. We will meet and go over and questions the couple may have.

Additional Wedding Planning Services:

• Addressing and sending out wedding invitations

Blog addiction!

Okay, I have changed my blog background a few times already.  I can't stop designing!  I just spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to add a post divider!  I went through several "help" tutorials and changed my html codes a dozen times and finally EUREKA!  I got it.  So please take a second and say hi to my page dividers....now I have another thing to play around with.  How will my laundry ever get done now? LOL

Today the obsession continues...

After getting the kiddos up, dressed, teeth brushed, breakfast made, lunches made, jackets on, backpack check, out the door to meet the bus...WAIT...Kisses, Hugs and Love you's!!!  I am now ready to log on to my computer and start my second official business day.  I do have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playing in the background....my 2 year od goes to work with me haha!  I sit down with my cup of coffee and start researching.  I have already found awesome ideas.  I have started making lists and getting thoughts together.  I will be working on client forms, contract forms, bride checklists and other documents I need for potential clients!  Exciting right?  Well, for me anyway!
